MEET YOUR ART TEACHERS:
Sarah Nott launched the Kalamazoo Creative Art Camp to encourage that creative spark in children even after school’s out for summer! Ms. Nott is a graduate of WMU’s Frostic School of Art for both a Master's and BFA in Art Education, and has extensive experience in the arts and art education. She currently teaches art full-time at Portage Northern High School.

Michelle Trickey enjoys Kalamazoo Creative Art Camp because campers have a real passion for art, and it's a fun atmosphere!  Mrs. Trickey received her BFA in Art Education from Kendall College of Art and Design.  She was awarded 2016/17 Michigan Elementary Art Educator of the year by the Michigan Art Education Association.  She currently teaches art full-time at Portage's Amberly Elementary School.

Sarah and Michelle are CPR Certified, hold Professional Teaching Certificates from the Michigan Department of Education, and can provide current fingerprint data and background checks performed through LiveScan and KRESA, if requested.
